The Telford Tree of Light is a charity jointly administered and supported by the four Telford Rotary Clubs. It has been running for over 30 years and to date has raised over £875,000 for over 60 local charities. All the donations received are allocated to the chosen charities for the annual campaign each year at a presentation event.
These charities are chosen by the Club Presidents of the four clubs. A fantastic £40,000 was raised in 2024 due to the incredible generosity of local people.
The Telford Tree of Light is displayed each year, during the festive season, in Telford Centre. Members of the public can make donations for loved ones to be remembered at Christmas and these names, and a short message, are displayed around the Tree. It is a wonderful sight and a moving memory of loved ones at a special time of year. There's now also a pet’s section which has proved very popular.
We would be delighted to have your support and remember your loved ones in 2025.
