TELFORD'S NON STOP SUMMER
KICK'S OFF 22ND JULY
To celebrate 50 years since the first man walked on the moon, Telford Centre is going to space this summer!
Come along and jet off to space between Monday 5th and Sunday 18th August when the centre will become a space academy.
Families can experience a space adventure. Grab your space suit and helmet and learn all the skills needed to become the next Neil Armstrong with intergalactic games out of this world.
All astronaut recruits receive a space academy ‘I’ve passed’ certificate and a sweet treat.
There is also the opportunity to see the stars and planets close up in an amazing 360 degree, fully immersive digital planetarium.

Please note children must be accompanied by an adult.
Please note if you are claustrophobic or suffer with anxiety in small places the planetarium experience may not be suitable.
This is a free event, open daily between 11am and 4pm, located in Sherwood Square.
Also with us until the 26th August is the unique 9D cinematic virtual reality experience, located by Waterstones.
With prices starting at £3, kids and kids at heart, can try a whole new world of 9D virtual reality adventures including space!

From the 1st to 4th August and 5th to 8th September the ever popular artisan food market returns to the centre, where visitors can discover delicious local produce and artisan baked goods. Click here for details.
On Monday 19th August Telford Centre will hold their annual One Great Day event in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital and in partnership with Telford Young Carers. This is a fundraising spectacular with fete activities and the ever popular Bumper Carz. All proceeds raised on the day will go to One Great Day.
The Bumper Carz will be with us from 19th to 25th August, located at Sherwoord Square, daily.
Leapfrog Club will bring a sporty vibe to Telford Centre, on Saturday 24th August, with their Sports Day event including aerobic kids dance class and mini sporting competitions with the opportunity to earn a medal. Plus kids can decorate their very own sports bag, perfect for Back to School sports kits! Registration is free. Register in advance by clicking here or on the day, located at Wyre Hall, 11am - 4pm.
If that wasn’t enough, why not try your hand at the centre’s free Ping Pong Parlour. Open daily and located next to House of Fraser, opposite Costa Coffee on New Row, the Ping Pong Parlour is a great way to practise those table tennis skills! Click here for further details.
