We were very pleased to welcome Pneuma Affinity CIC to The Retreat roof top garden here at Telford Centre earlier this month, for the unveiling of our brand new vibrant mosaic which has been created over a series of workshops and kindly donated to the garden for everyone to enjoy.

Participants from Pneuma Affinity CIC created the mosaic using recycled, locally handmade historical roof tiles and clay pieces. The workshop sessions offered a warm and inclusive space for people to connect, collaborate and share ideas.  Engaging in hands-on, creative processes gave participants a grounding, mindful experience that encouraged relaxation, self-expression and a sense of achievement.

The mosaic design was inspired by the core principles of Permaculture: Care for people, care for the planet and a fair share for all. The final piece stands at The Retreat as a lasting symbol of community spirit, shared creativity and the positive impact of coming together through art.
