Telford Centre Gives Back, with Over £60,000 Raised for Local Charities

We are delighted to announce The Tree of Light campaign, which featured at Telford Centre in November and December last year, has raised over £40,000 for local charities.

Donations have been split between Severn Hospice, Hope House, The Bridge School, Lingen Davies and the PACT Dementia appeal at SaTH.

This brings the overall donations from The Tree of Light across the last 30 years to over £873,699.00. While the comfort to the community in the remembrance of their loved ones from the campaign is priceless.

Telford Centre is committed to the continued support of the community with an additional £18,000 worth of fundraising taking place at the Centre during 2024 from other local charities in the area and over £30,000 worth of mall space provided at no cost to enable the fundraising to take place.

Katie Broome, Marketing Manager at Telford Centre said: “Telford Centre has always been an important part of the community and it’s amazing to see just how much support there is for the local charities. They all do such a brilliant job, and we know that without the support of the community the funds raised just wouldn’t be possible.”
